All prices are in Canadian dollars. Taxes, where applicable, are additional. Third-party costs — domains, hosting, platform subscriptions, advertising budgets, physical NFC cards and similar charges — are not included unless explicitly specified in your proposal.

What the $400 fee is
For Website + Care, $400 CAD is a one-time initial fee for designing and building your website. It is not a monthly payment.
Contract duration
No fixed term. Care runs month to month at $79.99 CAD; cancel anytime with 30 days' written notice.
No surprise upgrades
Work outside your plan is always quoted and approved by you first.
Defined website scope
Page counts, features and revision rounds are listed in your written proposal.
Maintenance limits
Small edits update existing content. New pages, features or redesigns are quoted separately.
Cancellation

How much does a website cost?

A baseline website is $450 CAD one-time. Or choose Website + Care: a $400 CAD initial fee for the website, then $79.99 CAD/month for ongoing care and maintenance.

What does Website + Care include?

The $400 CAD initial fee designs and builds your website. The $79.99 CAD monthly care fee covers maintenance and small content edits, basic SEO checks, hosting and domain management assistance, backups where supported, a monthly summary and email support.

Can I cancel Website + Care?

Yes. There is no fixed term. Cancel anytime with 30 days' written notice; care and monthly services stop at the end of the notice period.

Can I buy a website without a subscription?

Yes. The $450 CAD Baseline Website is paid once. Ongoing care after launch is part of Website + Care only.

Does my package include a domain?

Domain registration costs are not included. We help you register, connect and manage a domain in an account you control.

Who owns my domain and website?

Your business always retains full rights to its name and domain. If you choose the Website + Care monthly option, Kairos Studio will also be given access to the domain so we can keep it secure and running smoothly from our end. Ownership of the website and creative assets is set out in your written agreement before work begins.

Are hosting fees included?

Hosting setup and management assistance are included with Website + Care. Third-party hosting fees are billed by the provider unless your proposal states otherwise.

What happens if I cancel my plan?

Give 30 days' written notice. Maintenance and monthly services stop at the end of the notice period, and website and hosting handover follow the process in your agreement. Your domain stays in your account.
